Most tools are bought for one job and judged on that job. We judge ours on the third, fourth and tenth — when the paint is worn and the bolt is round.
Chainwright started at a workbench with a cheap chain tool that flexed on a 12-speed pin and a €60 chain ruined in one squeeze. The lesson stuck: a tool that almost works is more expensive than the right one.
So every kit here is designed in repair order — clean, measure, torque, bleed, press — with the failure modes written down first. Full-thickness sockets instead of stamped ones. Peening stations instead of break-only breakers. Stepped spacers that load the race, never the balls. If the cheap version of a tool exists, we carry the version that makes the cheap one obsolete.
And because specs are promises: published torque accuracy, stated chain compatibility, load ratings on the stands. When a job has you stuck, WhatsApp the bench — a mechanic picks up.
FIX IT RIGHT. RIDE IT LONGER.

The rounded bolt, the creaky BB, the brake that never feels right. We've been there this week.
